Targetted directly at the younger generation of FaceBook and MySpace users the Flip Mino is almost half the size of the Video and Ultra Flips and will easily slip into the smallest pocket or purse due to the smooth and rounded corners incorporated into the design.

The original Flip Video camera has totally changed the camcorder market with over a millions sales proving that small and simple is beautiful and actually what the consumer wants. In fact the Pure Digital Flip Video camcorder models have caused a big copy cat camcorder industry to start up with new many companies trying to copy their product, including all the big players in the camcorder and video camera market.

It seems though that with the Flip Mino, the Pure Digital company have one again stolen a march on their bigger competitors.

Although it is small the Flip Mino video camera can still record up to 60 minutes of video playback and it still has the same pop-up plug that allows the Mino to be easily plugged into a USB slot on your computer for easy uploading of recorded videos into you PC and then onto YouTube or other popular video sharing sites on the web for sharing with friends and family.

The anti-glare screen is only slightly smaller than the Flip Ultra at 1.4 inches and just like previous models this compact Flip records in 640×480 pixels at 30 frames per second.

Just like the 60 minute version of its brother (or sister) the Flip Ultra, the Mino has 2GB of internal memory which is also capable of recording 60 minutes of video in VGA resolution. Advances in image processing and audio signal processing, mean that the Mino should have a better image quality and improved sound.

There is also good news for Mac users as the Mino now supports direct operation with a Mac computer which does not need a software installation first and of course you still get a connector for playing video through your TV.

The simplicity and ease of use of all the models in the Flip video camcorder range have turned the video camera industry on its head and with the Flip Mino this is likely to continue. Suddenly less is more!
